Student Information Scavenger Hunt Options

Here are 20 options to give students. Use any word processing program to copy them onto cards or slips so that you have one for each student in your class. Each finishes the sentence that begins, "As you mingle among your classmates, find those who ..."

Have read at least one book for fun in the last month.

 

Have ever written a letter to the editor of a newspaper.

 

Think a man should pay for the entire cost of a date when he takes someone out.

 

Play a musical instrument.

 

Have recently moved to our community.

 

Think that drug laws are too severe.

 

Know the name of our member of Congress.

 

Would like to get an unusual job.

 

Would be willing to give up driving in order to protect the environment.

 

Like animals.

 

Think school attendance should be voluntary after 6th grade.

 

Think women with small children should not work outside of the home.

 

Have always lived in our community.

 

Have traveled to a foreign country.

 

Think guns should be banned in the U.S.

 

Dislike watching TV.

 

Think that "we" will one day contact other intelligent life in the universe.

 

Like to go camping.

 

Have acted in a play.

 

Hope that one day the ERA will be ratified and become part of the constitution.
